BILL LANE CLASSIC - 6-7 JUNE

Welcome to the home of the Bill Lane Classic

2026 will be the first of what we hope will be a long history of the tournament named in honor of the late Bill Lane.

The tournament will be a 2-person team event held over two days. The maximum team score per hole will be triple bogey. Players will play tees based on their age.

Day 1: Texas Scramble*

Day 2: True Alternate Shot*

Entry includes:

- 2 days of golf with cart

- Lunch each day (burger bar Saturday; BBQ Sunday)

- Flighted cash payouts determined by total team count.

- Each player will receive tickets for drinks and snacks that can be used on the course or in the pro shop.

- Social event at Lane Tree on Friday evening for all membership along with players and a guest. (more details to come)

Cost per player: $175 for non-members and $150 for members

Signups are limited to the first 72 teams

*TOURNAMENT FORMAT DESCRIPTIONS

- Texas Scramble: Each player plays their shot from the tee and the team chooses which ball to play. From that spot, each player will play their own ball and the lower score will count as the team score for that hole.

 - True Alternate Shot: Teams will decide before play which player will tee off on the odd holes and which player will tee off on the even holes. Players will alternate shots on the ball until the ball is holed.
