THE GOLF COURSE
Naturally located on a hilly terrain with a wide, unmatched topographical range, the highest vantage points lend a dynamic view of the entire course. Hole designs are 1/2 scottish and 1/2 southern traditional with a couple of holes appearing like those from the mountainous region.
You'll find five holes bordered by the Little River with 15 ponds or lakes on the course and over 5 miles of paved cart paths. Our grass practice range is unlike any other in the area and the large practice putting green is conveniently located adjacent to the pro shop.
Designed by achitect John LaFoy, Lane Tree is located on the Little River in Goldsboro, North Carolina. With yardages from 5,100 to 7,200 yards, our tees can accomodate beginners and professionals alike.
Lane tree is an environmental enhancement to the community with pristine wetlands that serve as home to blue herons, geese, ducks and various other wildlife.

- Tee-times required on weekends and holidays.
- Tourists, local groups and tournaments welcomed with entire golf packages available.
- Open play rates (carts included): $25.00 Mon & Tues, $30.00 Wed - Fri, $40.00 weekends and holidays.
- Walking allowed certain times.
- Open year round - Hours: 7a.m.-5p.m. November through February
- 7a.m. Until dark, March through October.

Our Maintenance Crew
The maintenance crew is experienced in turfgrass management, including aerification and top-dressing greens to promote deeper root growth with less compaction, creating healthy playing surfaces. Meet the professionals that make up the crew that specializes in providing the best bent greens in eastern North Carolina.
Our maintenance crew includes Duff Lane, Maintenance Supervisor; Chad Matthews, Golf Course Superintendent; and Clint Newcomb, Assistant Superintendent.
